Public services is a term usually used to mean services provided by government to its citizens, either directly (through the public sector) or by financing private provision of services. The term is associated with a social consensus (usually expressed through democratic elections) that certain services should be available to all, regardless of income. Even where public services are neither publicly provided nor publicly financed, for social and political reasons they are usually subject to regulation going beyond that applying to most economic sectors. Public services is also a course that can be studied at college and/or university. These courses can lead entry in to the: police, ambulance and fire services. It is also an alternative term for civil service. From Wikipedia under the

And you could use Dr. Martin Luther King in the Civil Rights Movement as an example. He believed minorities should have equal treatment, and it caused conflict with those that believed that they did not deserve it. And someone killed him because of his ideological beliefs. Q. If I have $150,000 of student loans, and will likely be working in a hospital or clinic, what's the best option to pay off these student loans? I've heard of plans where you can pay 10% for 10 years and forgiven for the rest. Anyone have any good info on this? Any recommendations on financial planners to talk to in San Diego? Thanks! Asked by The Great Poomba - Sun Jun 28 14:19:15 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Some loans are partially forgiven for teaching in low income schools. Some hospitals participate in such programs, you'll need to speak with the hospital individually to find out what their participation is (go to their human resource dept.) Speak with a representative of your bank as well for different payment plans, deferment, forebearance, forgiveness, etc. Good Luck Answered by JustBecause - Sun Jun 28 14:26:04 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Public services" |
