Can a married Florida schoolteacher be fired for having an affair with another married person?
Q. They are both married, but cheating on their spouses. There is 100% proof. Is there an ethics clause or anything in the state of Florida for teachers?

A. Yes, they can. Florida's teacher contract has a clause about ethical personal behavior and one about public image, both of which are violated by extra-marital affairs. You would be surprised what has been considered unethical behavior, and grounds for dismissal, on teacher contracts. For example, co-habitation with a member of the opposite sex, and drinking alcohol in public, have both been found to be violations of Florida's ethical behavior policy in the past. Although these particular examples have since been changed in Florida, they are still listed on teacher contracts in several other southern states. So, yes, you can be fired for having an affair. However, it is rare that teachers are fired in Florida for extra-marital affairs. [cont.]

What colleges in Florida offer family housing?
Q. I'm looking for a college in Florida that offers family housing, as I'm a single mommy and working full time and going to school full time is asking a bit much when there are only twenty four hours in a day. Plus, apartment hunting is a bit hard when you're half a country away. I'd prefer it be in Southern Florida, the Tampa area to be exact, but any in Florida would be helpful. I've tried a lot of college search engines and have found practically nothing. Thanks.

How could I convince a business that Florida is the best state to move to?
Q. I am trying to come up with ideas for a paper. A business is moving from California and they are trying to decide between Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. I am trying to convince them why Florida would be the best choice. I have some ideas, but I am trying to come up with as many reasons as possible. Help Please? A. I live in North Florida (Actually in St. Augustine, near Jacksonville). Housing is much cheaper here and it isn't all "touristy" either. Good educated workforce and great access along I-75, I-95 and I-10. They have also just expanded the Port of Jacksonville, so if you are importing and exporting, there is an even greater advantage. I just moved here 3 months ago and love it. Oh, and as far as hurricanes go, the northeast coast of Florida doesn't get hit nearly as often as the gulf side, or the Carolinas. I think the last one was in the 1960's out my way.
